I put this on my little 1981 Boston Whaler 13 Sport that has the original stainless destroyer wheel. The fit is perfect! Build quality is excellent and solid feeling. Once tightened, there is absolutely zero wiggle on the knob. My boat has the old school cable steering that isn't all that responsive, so this greatly improves control while docking or maneuvering. I am only giving 4 stars initially until it gets more use.
