The 2022 Formula 500 Super Sport Crossover combines an open bow with an enclosed salon beneath a sculpted fiberglass hardtop. A full-width retractable glass bulkhead opens the salon to the aft deck or closes the interior space from the cockpit.
The crossover arrangement brings the principal social areas into a continuous main-deck setting, with the salon protected beneath the hardtop and the bow kept open to the water.
Quad Mercury V12 propulsion
Four Mercury Verado V12 600 hp outboards power the Formula 500 Super Sport Crossover. The propulsion package uses Mercury’s steerable gearcase and two-speed transmission platform.
The deep-vee fiberglass hull is paired with a 14.5-foot beam, while the yacht carries a 650-gallon fuel tank, a 100-gallon water tank, and a 60-gallon holding tank.
Helm electronics and monitoring
The helm carries dual Raymarine Axiom XL 24 chartplotters, complemented by Raymarine Axiom+ 12 RV and Axiom+ 9 RV displays. A Raymarine open-array radar with Magnum array and 4 kW Magnum radar pedestal forms part of the navigation installation.
Raymarine equipment also includes an SR200 Sirius Weather receiver, CP470 depth sounder, RMK-10 keyboard, CAM210IP and CAM220IP cameras, and an AR200 GPS/camera stabilization module. A VHF radio with AIS650 Class B transceiver and a FLIR M364C thermal camera extend the onboard communications and camera suite.
Stabilization, power and onboard entertainment
A Seakeeper 9 gyro stabilizer is installed aboard the yacht. A Kohler 15 kW diesel generator supplies onboard electrical power.
The entertainment and connectivity installation includes a KVH TV3 HD satellite TV antenna, KVH TV Hub, KVH TracPhone LTE-1 receiver with TracPhone LTE, and a Sirius stereo tuner. The equipment inventory also includes a Star White SeaBob F5S, an Apple iPad with 128 GB WiFi and cellular capability, and Mercury Premium Theft Deterrent System.
