Aluminum sport-yacht performance

The 2003 Palmer Johnson 120 carries an aluminum deep-V hull across a 120-foot length overall, with a 24.75-foot beam and a 5.58-foot draft. Two MTU 396 TE94 engines drive the yacht through V-drives.

The yacht has a maximum speed of 30 knots and a cruising speed of 24 knots. An electric windlass and bow thruster support close-quarters handling.

Aft-deck connection to the water

The aft deck combines an alfresco dining area, sunpad lounge, cockpit table, cushions and shower. A hydraulic swim platform and hydraulic gangway extend the yacht’s connection to the water.

The foredeck provides an additional sunning area, while a tender garage sits beneath the aft sunpad. Teak finishes extend across the cockpit and side decks, and a davit supports tender launching.

Four-cabin guest arrangement

The main salon combines lounge seating, a formal dining area and a retractable flat-screen television, with large windows bringing natural light into the interior. Flat-screen televisions are fitted throughout the cabins and salon.

The accommodation deck contains four guest cabins and five bathrooms. The full-beam master suite is positioned amidships with an en-suite bathroom, desk and walk-in wardrobe; two VIP cabins sit forward, while the twin cabin includes two Pullman berths.

Onboard systems and domestic equipment

The navigation suite includes GPS, chart plotter, radar, autopilot, AIS, VHF, log-speedometer and depthsounder. Wi-Fi connectivity and a DVD, CD and radio entertainment system serve the onboard living spaces.

Reverse-cycle air conditioning, a freshwater maker, electric heads, battery chargers and shore power form part of the yacht’s onboard systems. The galley includes a refrigerator, oven, microwave and dishwasher, while a washer/dryer supports longer periods aboard.
