Flybridge command and IPS propulsion

The 2018 Palm Beach Motor Yachts PB55 Flybridge is fitted with twin Volvo IPS 1200 engines rated at 900 hp each, with 1,800 hp total output. The IPS installation includes pods and a Dynamic Positioning System, while helm positions on the flybridge and lower deck create two distinct command stations.

A bimini shades the flybridge, and a bow rider seat adds a forward-facing place on deck. Humphree stabilizers are fitted, and a generator is installed aboard.

Two-stateroom interior arrangement

The interior has a galley-down layout that leaves the main salon open, with two staterooms and two en suite heads. A wine cooler forms part of the onboard amenities, while V-Kool tint is fitted throughout.

The 55-foot fiberglass motor yacht has a 17.17-foot beam and a maximum draft of 4 feet. Tankage includes a 716-gallon fuel tank, a 264-gallon water tank, and a 71-gallon holding tank.

Water, storage and onboard provisions

A Spot Zero combination Spot Free and watermaker system is installed aboard. The yacht also carries a Dyson V8 cordless vacuum.

The rear stowage garage incorporates Dometic dual-zone units configurable as refrigerators or freezers. The house bank and anchor have been upgraded.

Tender arrangement in Jupiter
