Vessel overview
The 2007 Hinckley Talaria 55 Flybridge combines a Flag Blue Awlgrip finish with a cream deck and cabin top, molded non-skid, varnished teak toe rails, and a red bottom. The swim platform carries inset teak treads, underwater lights, and a telescoping three-step stainless-steel ladder.
The cockpit is arranged with teak decking, a varnished teak coaming, movable seating, under-coaming lockers, a sole hatch, and a starboard transom door to the platform. A hydraulic Freedom tender lift and Walker Bay RIB complement the aft deck arrangement, while a hot-and-cold cockpit shower and separate stereo-zone speakers add practical detail.
The flybridge is sheltered by a custom hardtop and enclosure, with a wraparound windscreen, stainless-steel safety rail, starboard L-shaped seating, port seating, and a removable teak table. A stainless-steel ladder with teak treads links the cockpit and upper deck.
The upper helm places MAN controls, JetStick control, navigation instruments, Raymarine multifunction displays, and a DSM300 fishfinder module at the starboard console. A double Stidd helm seat, upholstered in Adobe White with Imperial Blue piping, faces the helm.
The pilothouse brings the lower helm, a carbon-fiber instrument dash, wood-rim steering wheel, powered Stidd helm seating, and an electrically opening side window into a bright, glass-enclosed space. Large tempered and laminated glass windows, windshield wipers and washers, tinted side glass, and electrically lowered Skysol shades shape the view and light within the pilothouse.
A starboard C-shaped dinette with a varnished cherry hi-lo table sits aft of the helm, while two chairs and an entertainment console occupy the port side. Gloss-varnished raised-panel cherry, a teak-and-tulipwood sole, white sound-absorbing overhead panels, and cherry battens establish the interior finish.
The accommodation plan sleeps four across a forward owner’s suite and a guest cabin with twin berths, with two heads serving the interior. The owner’s suite has a centerline queen berth, a wraparound settee, cedar-lined storage beneath the berth, a private head, and a separate stall shower.
The galley is fitted with Chamois Corian countertops, an electric cooktop, microwave, double stainless-steel sink, two U-Line drawer refrigerators, a top-loading freezer, wine locker, and wine cooler. The guest head combines a cherry vanity area with a separate glass-enclosed shower.
Gloss-varnished cherry joinery, teak-and-tulipwood cabin soles, screened overhead hatches, portlight coverings, and dimmable lighting continue throughout the lower deck. Reverse-cycle chilled-water air conditioning serves the pilothouse and interior spaces.
Twin MAN V-12 common-rail diesel engines, rated at 1,360 hp each, are paired with Twin Disc MG5145SC transmissions. The propulsion installation includes underwater exhaust with low-speed bypass, baffled and insulated engine air intakes, Racor fuel/air separators, an Algae-X fuel purification system, and a 25 hp hydraulic bow thruster.
The electrical installation includes a Westerbeke 15 kW generator in a sound shield, 24-volt battery banks, dedicated battery chargers, a 24-volt-to-110-volt inverter, and two 50-amp shore-power inlets. The engine room has Mylar-faced insulation, extraction fans, protected lighting, and a remote day/night camera linked to an E-series display.
Freshwater capacity is 200 gallons, with a 100-gallon holding tank, Sea Recovery Ultra-Whisper 400 watermaker, 17-gallon water heater, pressurized hot-and-cold water, and a saltwater deck-wash system. A hydraulic windlass, 55 lb Delta primary anchor, and Fortress FX55 secondary anchor complete the ground-tackle arrangement.
