Catamaran form and propulsion

The 2025 Pro Boat Yachts CAT 62 FD combines a 26-foot beam with a 3.5-foot minimum draft in a fiberglass catamaran hull. Twin 370 hp Yanmar engines drive the yacht through a shaft system with bronze propellers, while an electric bow thruster with joystick control assists close-quarters handling.

The mechanical installation includes a flap system, fuel and generator water separators, saltwater filters, bronze below-waterline ball valves, and vibration mounts for the engines, generators, pumps, and air-conditioning equipment. Two Northern Lights generators—25 kVA and 9 kVA—support onboard electrical supply.

Aft deck and flybridge living

The aft deck is arranged around a fishing deck with a hot-and-cold shower, drink icebox, mezzanine seating, four speakers, and an integrated stern platform. Teak-treaded exterior stairs and aluminum handrails lead from the aft deck to the flybridge.

The flybridge combines a helm console beneath a hardtop with a sofa, stainless-steel railings, a sink-equipped counter, four speakers, and 12V and USB charging points. A 24V electric windlass, stainless-steel Delta anchors, and 100 metres of 13 mm galvanized chain form the ground-tackle arrangement.

Salon, galley and lower-deck cabins

The main salon receives light through tempered dark-glass windows and connects aft through a tempered-glass entry door. The interior includes a dinette, sofas, laminate flooring, a 60-inch LED 4K television, and two 16,000 Btu air-conditioning evaporators.

The galley is equipped with a four-burner 220V electric cooktop, exhaust hood, microwave, refrigerators, and ice maker. The owner’s cabin includes temperature-controlled air conditioning with heating, reading lights, vinyl flooring, 220V outlets, USB outlets, and a 9,000 Btu evaporator; its bathroom includes a shower stall, mirrored cabinet, Corian countertop, and 24V electric toilet.

The guest cabin has two single beds and a shared bathroom, while the VIP cabin has a queen-size bed, illuminated bedside storage niches, under-bed drawers, and a shared bathroom. The crew cabin has two single beds, temperature-controlled air conditioning with heating, and a private bathroom.

Electrical, climate and safety systems

The 2025 Pro Boat Yachts CAT 62 FD uses 24V DC and 220V/240V AC service, with independent 12V and 24V battery banks, three battery chargers, two 220V 63-amp shore-power outlets, a galvanic isolator, and grounding protection. A salon control panel manages AC and DC circuit breakers, while the 25 kVA generator has remote start from the salon.

A 72,000 Btu chiller air-conditioning system serves the yacht, complemented by two 230V electric water heaters. The engine room carries an FM200 automatic fire-suppression system, and the salon and lower-deck compartments have smoke and CO2 detectors. Four underwater lights and IMTRA LED interior lighting complete the lighting package.
