Propulsion, stabilization and close-quarters control

The 2024 Azimut Magellano 60 combines twin MAN i6 engines with direct-drive propulsion and a semi-displacement fiberglass hull. The yacht cruises at 20 knots and reaches a maximum speed of 26 knots. The twin engines show 250 operating hours, while the Mase generator shows 334 hours.

A Seakeeper 18 stabilization system reduces roll underway and at rest. Proportional Sleipner bow and stern thrusters incorporate a hold function, while joystick control and a Dockmate wireless remote add further options for maneuvering around a marina. Cockpit mooring winches assist with line handling.

Two comprehensively equipped helms

The lower and upper helms each carry two Raymarine Axiom multifunction displays. Raymarine radar and autopilot systems are joined by SiriusXM weather capability, while a windlass chain counter supports anchoring operations. Starlink satellite internet extends the yacht’s onboard connectivity.

The anchoring arrangement includes a stainless-steel anchor and windlass controls. Dedicated storage keeps fenders and lines organized when they are not in use.

Three-suite accommodation

The accommodation comprises three staterooms, each with a private head. The full-beam master is complemented by a VIP stateroom and a twin stateroom, creating three distinct sleeping spaces with en-suite facilities.

The main-deck salon has seating for at least eight and a 50-inch television on a high-low mechanism. The galley incorporates a full-size refrigerator and freezer, preparation and serving surfaces, and extensive cabinet storage.

Terraces from cockpit to flybridge

Teak extends through the cockpit, side decks, bow and flybridge. The cockpit centers on a large dining table and includes an additional ice maker, while mesh shades cover the surrounding windows and cockpit sides. The foredeck combines mezzanine seating with loungers and a cocktail table that converts to create further seating. Carbon-fiber poles support a removable sunshade over the bow.

The flybridge arranges a broad U-shaped seating area around a table with a Corian insert. Two aft love seats flank a cocktail table, and a forward sun cushion sits ahead of the social area. The upper deck also includes two helm seats, extra refrigeration, an electric Kenyon grill and a television on a high-low lift. Aft flybridge shade sails and mesh panels around the railings add shelter and enclosure.

Underwater lights and upgraded exterior lighting illuminate the yacht after dark. The swim platform carries a Grand 380 tender, although its inclusion requires separate confirmation.
