A cockpit that changes with the day

The 2023 Tiara Yachts 48 LS centers its exterior layout on a rotating aft lounge that faces forward while underway or turns toward the swim platform at rest. A port-side fold-down terrace broadens the cockpit over the water, while an electric Makefast sunshade extends from the aft hardtop across the rear seating zone. A manual Mediterranean-style sunshade covers the forward area.

Platinum Grey synthetic teak runs through the cockpit and across the swim platform, complemented by Sea Cliff Grey exterior upholstery. The factory-painted Bentley Sequin Blue hull carries a Crystal White bootline, and the three outboards are painted to match the hull.

Triple V12 propulsion and stabilization

Three Mercury V12 600 hp outboards deliver a total rated output of 1,800 hp. Mercury Joystick Piloting assists with close-quarters control, and a Seakeeper SK6 gyro provides stabilization. The yacht has a cruising speed of 32 knots and a maximum speed of 47 knots.

The 48 LS has a fiberglass Deep Vee hull, a 48-foot overall length and a 14.25-foot beam. Tankage comprises 660 gallons of fuel, 100 gallons of fresh water and a 50-gallon holding tank.

Enclosed helm and Garmin electronics

Sliding doors to port and starboard allow the helm and pilothouse to operate as an enclosed, climate-controlled space or open directly to the surrounding deck. The Garmin Glass Cockpit incorporates two 16-inch GPSMAP displays and a centrally mounted 22-inch GPSMAP display.

A 48-inch Garmin Fantom open-array radar, FLIR thermal camera, 1 kW transducer and Garmin VHF radio support navigation and communications. The hardtop also carries an ACR100 LED remote spotlight, electrically folding antennas and navigation light, an independent speaker zone and satellite-radio readiness.

Onboard power and interior amenities

A 9.0 kW Kohler diesel generator supports the onboard electrical system and includes a factory-installed oil changer. A Go Power 1,500-watt inverter has dedicated batteries, while upgraded USB-A and USB-C connections and an additional 110-volt cockpit outlet expand charging and utility options. A Glomex Wi-Fi booster dome is also installed.

The interior includes two cabins and one bathroom, together with White Onyx solid surfaces and a dedicated icemaker in place of standard galley storage. The yacht is pre-wired and fitted with a through-hull for a future watermaker installation.
