Hardtop design and open-air deck spaces

The 2023 Riva 48′ Dolceriva combines a factory hardtop with an electrically opening sunroof and a full wraparound windscreen. Regal Silver metallic hull finish, a double turquoise waterline and teak decking give the exterior a distinctive Riva profile.

The foredeck provides a dedicated lounging area, while the cockpit extends aft to a teak beach platform with a swim ladder and hot-and-cold shower. White underwater LED lighting is fitted at the transom and along the sides.

Convertible cockpit arrangement

The protected cockpit is arranged around a U-shaped lounge and a convertible hi-lo table that forms an additional sunpad. A large aft sunpad sits above the gear locker, and the starboard transom seat pivots to create further sunpad space.

The cockpit wet bar incorporates a sink, refrigerator and ice maker. A retractable built-in awning and cockpit air conditioning add further control over the exterior environment.

Helm, propulsion and onboard control

The twin-seat helm carries dual multifunction displays, autopilot and VHF, with hydraulic steering and Volvo joystick docking support. An electric bow thruster with proportional speed control assists close-quarters manoeuvring.

Twin Volvo Penta D13-1000 V-drive diesel engines deliver 1,000 hp each through shaft-driven propulsion. The Riva 48′ Dolceriva has an approximate 40-knot maximum speed and a 35-knot cruising speed. Seakeeper gyro stabilization and automatic trim control are fitted for operation underway and at rest.

An 11 kW Kohler generator, 50-amp shore power, a Mastervolt 2,500 W charger/inverter and digital electrical monitoring support the yacht’s onboard systems. Fuel capacity is approximately 476 US gallons.

Two-cabin interior

The interior accommodates up to four guests in two cabins, comprising a forward master cabin and a guest cabin with twin berths convertible to a queen-size bed. Mahogany woodwork, leather upholstery, dimmable lighting and a Fusion sound system shape the main interior spaces.

The galley includes a cooktop, refrigerator and dishwasher, while the head has an enclosed shower and electric marine toilet. Reverse-cycle air conditioning serves the interior with zoned thermostatic controls, and a Searecovery watermaker is installed. Fresh-water capacity is approximately 82 US gallons, with an approximately 40 US-gallon blackwater holding tank.
