Twin-Helm Control and Navigation

The 2023 Catalina 445 carries black Carbonautica composite steering wheels at dual helm stations. A four-screen Garmin navigation suite places dual GPSMAP 8610 chartplotters in NavPods and dual multifunction displays across the two helms.

The Garmin installation also includes Fantom radar, VHF, autopilot, anemometer and knotmeter. A Lewmar tunnel bow thruster adds close-quarters control.

Furling Sail Plan and Auxiliary Power

The Selden rig carries an in-mast furling mainsail and a furling headsail in composite Doyle sailcloth. The sail inventory also includes an unused OEM Dacron Doyle mainsail and self-tacking jib, together with the jib car and track.

A Yanmar 4JH57 diesel rated at 54 hp has approximately 100 hours. A three-blade Max-Prop feathering propeller is fitted, while a fixed bronze three-blade propeller is carried as a spare.

Three-Cabin Interior

Teak and ash joinery runs throughout the interior. Three private staterooms and two electric heads shape the accommodation, and the port cabin converts to a storage garage.

A Webasto diesel-fired hydronic heating system serves the owner’s cabin, both aft cabins and the saloon. The domestic system includes an electric water heater and pressurized hot and cold water.

Power, Weather Protection and Recent Underwater Service

A Victron 2,000-watt inverter/charger works with a 30-amp shore-power inlet and galvanic isolator. A 2023 Iverson dodger, bimini and connector canvas package includes screens.

The bottom received haul-out, pressure washing, preparation and Seahawk AF-33 black antifouling service during June and July 2026. The three-blade Max-Prop received service, grease and Barnacle Ban preparation during the same period.
