Vessel overview
The 2023 Blaundus V30 Explorer combines a steel hull with an aluminium bridge deck and composite sun deck across three decks. At 30.00 metres (98’05”), the yacht carries a 6.94-metre beam and a teak deck finish.
A beach club, sun awnings and a hydraulic SOMER sea-stair extend the yacht’s connection to the water, while a custom SOMER passerelle supports boarding alongside. Two anchors, including one Ultra anchor, are paired with 250-metre, 16 mm chains.
The Blaundus V30 Explorer accommodates 10 guests in five staterooms and provides three crew cabins for five crew. The guest arrangement comprises a lower-deck master cabin, two twin guest cabins, a main-deck master cabin and a flybridge master stateroom.
The crew area includes a dedicated captain’s cabin, two bunk-bed cabins, a crew galley and a crew mess. Electric TECMA WCs and a Tecnicomar Ecomar 32S black- and grey-water treatment system serve the onboard accommodation.
Direct-shaft propulsion, ZF gearboxes and CJR propellers form the drivetrain, while hydraulic bow and stern thrusters assist close-quarters manoeuvring. CMC Marine 3153 fin stabilisers are fitted.
The engineering installation includes twin 45 kW Kohler generators, a shore-power converter and transformer, and a 220V shore-power connection. Two Delfin Maxi 7000 watermakers are installed, each rated at 300 litres per hour.
A Dometic air-conditioning system with 14 air-handling units has a total capacity of 252,000 BTU. The yacht also carries a 27,059-litre fuel capacity and 6,490 litres of fresh-water capacity.
The bridge is equipped with Furuno NavNet TZT BB displays, a Furuno DRS12A X-band radar, Furuno GPS and Navtex, Simrad A2004 autopilot, AIS, and a FLIR MC300 night-vision camera. Communications equipment includes two Furuno VHFs and a Sailor portable VHF.
Safety equipment includes an EPIRB, Sailor SART II, fixed firefighting equipment, smoke detection, fire alarms, two life rafts and immersion suits. The yacht’s MFIRE security system is monitored at the bridge and crew mess.
The main salon has a 76-inch LG television and surround sound, while cabins have individual televisions. JL Audio serves the exterior spaces, and tablet control manages the audio-visual and lighting systems.
The main galley combines Gaggenau refrigeration, freezer, oven and microwave appliances with an Elica extractor. Bosch 9 kg washing and drying machines support onboard laundry.
