Custom salon arrangement

The 2022 Sabre 48 Salon Express has a tailored main-deck layout centered on two Stressless recliners in place of the standard port-side sliding sofa. A hinged custom end table adds bottle storage beside the recliners, while the reversed starboard L-settee faces a 43-inch television on an electric lift. A folding salon table operates on an electric high-low pedestal.

Two pedestal-mounted STIDD chairs form the helm seating arrangement. A custom cabinet aft of the navigation desk contains an icemaker, and an added step sits below the pilothouse door.

Propulsion and principal dimensions

Twin Volvo Penta D8 IPS 700 diesel engines produce 550 horsepower each and drive through pod units. The yacht has a cruising speed of 29.4 knots and a maximum speed of 33.6 knots. Its semi-displacement fiberglass hull measures 52 feet 3 inches overall, with a 15.33-foot beam and a 4.08-foot maximum draft.

The yacht carries 525 gallons of fuel, 160 gallons of fresh water and 70 gallons in the holding tank. An electric windlass handles anchoring duties.

Accommodation and domestic systems

The accommodation comprises two cabins and two heads. Witch Hazel Corian finishes the galley surfaces, while Rain Cloud Corian is used in both heads. The utility room has a custom arrangement with a side-by-side ASKO washer and vented dryer, and a centerline hatch with a ladder provides access.

A Northern Lights 12 kW generator has automatic start, while a Victron 3,000-watt inverter works with a separate battery charger. The house battery bank has 1,200 amp-hours of capacity through eight additional 6-volt batteries, and a second shore-power inlet is positioned at the bow. A Seagull water purifier serves the onboard water system.

Cockpit, platform and exterior equipment

The cockpit incorporates an electric grill in a fiberglass cabinet, a stainless-steel sink and an electric refrigerator. A hydraulic swim platform has flush-mounted pop-up chocks, and a fresh-water washdown is installed forward.

The hull is finished in Sport Yacht White with a Flag Blue boot top and Smoke-colored nonskid. A fiberglass electronics mast carries a separate radar platform and an ACR dual-beam searchlight. Kahlenberg triple chrome horns and a Reverso oil-change system complete the verified equipment configuration.
