Deck spaces shaped for life outdoors

The 2022 Princess S66 combines teak-laid side decks, foredeck and walkways with a hydraulic swimming platform and a remote-controlled hydraulic passerelle. A charcoal-grey electro-hydraulic bimini incorporates ambient lighting, while an electric aft sunshade adds further cover to the cockpit.

The cockpit includes a third helm station with engine and windlass controls, and two electric aft mooring winches support docking routines. The Allure Pack adds aft and side underwater lights, exterior ambient lighting, an Oyster-painted console, an exterior bar, cockpit backrest detailing, teak step risers and Design Studio upholstery.

Command, manoeuvring and stabilization

The helm carries four Raymarine Axiom XL16 multifunction displays and a Raymarine Class B AIS transponder. Twin MAN V12 engines deliver 1,400 hp each, with cruising speed stated at 17.28 knots and maximum speed at 20.52 knots.

Variable-speed bow and stern thrusters include a hold-lateral function, while a Yacht Controller Maximo MAN-CAN system works alongside joystick control and a Side-Power gateway. A Seakeeper NG9 gyroscopic stabilizer forms part of the yacht’s onboard equipment.

Four-cabin accommodation

The accommodation comprises four cabins and three bathrooms. The starboard cabin has an electric conversion to a double berth, while the crew cabin has a second berth and a separate WC, shower and washbasin.

Satin-finished Silver Oak cabinetry runs through the interior, and two loose poufs can be arranged in the saloon, dinette or cockpit. The forward cabin includes a 32-inch HD LED television, Fusion MS-RA670 Bluetooth audio and a DVD player; heated towel rails serve the forward and mid bathrooms.

Independent onboard services

A 19 kW Onan generator, AGM batteries and reversible air conditioning serve the saloon, cabins, crew quarters and bathrooms. An AC Pro Compact watermaker is rated at 300 litres per hour.

An electric sliding sunroof, satellite TV6 antenna and dome, and an electric windlass extend the yacht’s onboard systems. The ground tackle includes 80 metres of anchor chain, and a 2022 Williams 325 tender accompanies the yacht.
