Elevated command and open-air deck design

A custom marlin tower with forward seating gives the 2022 Intrepid 477 Evolution an elevated command point above its 47-foot deck layout. Exterior PlasDECK decking finishes the open-air surfaces, while a retractable cockpit sunshade extends shade over the aft social area.

The cockpit incorporates a refrigerator, ice maker, grill and sink for service on deck. A hydraulic swim door to port and a manual swim door to starboard provide separate access points at the waterline, and a fold-down transom seat adds flexible aft seating.

Mercury V12 power and control systems

Three Mercury V12 600 outboards deliver 1,800 hp. Joystick piloting with Skyhook, integrated autopilot, a Vetus 24-volt bow thruster and Livorsi trim tabs with a Parker pump form the yacht’s close-quarters and underway control package.

A Seakeeper 6 stabilization system, Kohler 11 kW diesel generator and Maxwell 24-volt windlass support the onboard systems. The 2022 Intrepid 477 Evolution also carries an electric windlass installation.

Navigation, monitoring and communications

The electronics array combines dual Garmin 8622 multifunction displays with a Garmin open-array radar. FLIR night vision, TV5 TracVision, an ICOM VHF, remote spotlight and electronic horn broaden the yacht’s onboard navigation, monitoring and communication equipment.

A Fusion audio control head works with JL Audio and Rockford speakers throughout the yacht.

Fishing equipment and onboard amenities

Port and starboard transom baitwells with windows, Taco outriggers and insulated fish boxes equip the aft deck for fishing. The transom arrangement keeps baitwell access and fish-box capacity close to the cockpit work area.
