Quad Mercury V10 400 outboards provide 1,600 hp for the 2022 Intrepid 427 Nomad FE. Mercury Joystick Piloting, a bow thruster and a Seakeeper 5 gyro stabilizer form part of the yacht’s maneuvering and stabilization equipment.
The helm carries two Garmin 8622 displays and one Garmin 8616XSV display, alongside FLIR MD625 night vision, an Icom BB VHF and a Fusion Apollo stereo head unit. Hull Finish and Deck Details
The fiberglass deep-vee hull carries a custom blue Imron hullside finish, with an Imron boot stripe, accent pin stripe and painted hardtop underside. Seven multicolor underwater lights and an LED spreader light aft of the hardtop extend the yacht’s exterior lighting.
A fold-out swim platform broadens water access aft. The helm floor uses Cool Gray SeaDek, while the engine platform and hi-low bow table use Platinum PlasDECK with white lines.
Cockpit Comfort and Open-Air Spaces
The cockpit includes air conditioning, an aft electric sunshade and quilted upholstery. A forward lounge cover and helm seat cover protect key seating areas when the yacht is not in use.
The starboard aft summer kitchen incorporates four drawers, while a custom Frigid Rigid cooler on slides occupies the aft-facing cabinet. A fresh-water washdown serves the anchor locker, and a Taco electric folding anchor light completes the deck equipment.
Fishing Equipment Aft
Port and starboard above-deck transom baitwells include windows and lights. A Hooker sea-chest pressurized baitwell system incorporates variable-speed controls and a manifold.
Rod storage includes under-gunwale racks, seven rod holders built into the transom FRP splashwell, and additional rod holders at the aft edge of the fiberglass top. The 2022 Intrepid 427 Nomad FE carries 770 gallons of fuel capacity and 80 gallons of water capacity.
