Helm, command and control

The 2021 Freeman 47 combines a 2022-model console with a glass windshield, D-tube supports and a windshield wiper. An XL T-top carries a hull-colour underside, while a custom enclosure adds protection at the console.

Garmin electronics include two Garmin units, a rear-facing 7-inch Garmin screen, open-array radar, autopilot, high- and low-CHIRP R599 and B175 transducers, and integrated control for the linked onboard lighting. Two ICOM VHF radios, FLIR night vision, a RIGID light bar and electrically folding antennas extend the helm’s communication and visibility equipment.

Quad Mercury 450R outboards deliver 1,800 hp, with joystick control and SkyHook alongside ZIPWAKE automatic trim tabs. An electrically folding running light completes the overhead equipment arrangement.

Fishing deck and water access

Four livewells with macerator pumps, eight tuna tubes and two custom Best Marine sea-chest systems form the core of the fishing setup. Marsh Tacky triple outriggers with external tensioners and a Marsh Tacky centre rigger are installed for a fully rigged trolling spread.

A Release Marine teak seven-rod rocket launcher stands behind the seating, and a starboard dive door provides direct access to the water. Two freshwater washdowns and two saltwater washdowns serve the working deck.

Custom freezer plates beneath the rear-facing seat are thermostatically controlled from the console. Hatch lighting, under-gunwale lighting, hardtop lighting and underwater lighting are linked through the Garmin screens.

Seating and custom finish

The deck arrangement combines a front lounger and coffin box with double-row seating and rear-facing seating. A custom Release Marine teak seating package runs throughout the 2021 Freeman 47, accompanied by custom double-diamond stitching.

An Ethereal Blue hull gives the exterior its defining colour, and DEKIT finishes the console interior and hatches. The interior surfaces carry a ceramic coating, while a custom boat cover is included.

Dimensions and onboard capacity

The Freeman 47 measures 47 feet overall with a 13.17-foot beam, a minimum draft of 2.25 feet and a bridge clearance of 9.5 feet. The centre-console layout has one bathroom and no cabins or berths.

Fuel capacity is 2 x 500 gallons, and freshwater capacity is 88 gallons. The fiberglass hull has been lift kept without bottom paint.
