Helm, propulsion and command

The 2021 Boston Whaler 405 Conquest is powered by four Mercury V8 300 Verado outboards, with 1,200 hp specified across the installation and 450 engine hours. Joystick control is fitted at the helm, while an additional hideaway joystick is positioned to port.

A dual 19-inch Raymarine Axiom display installation forms the principal navigation suite, complemented by an additional 19-inch screen on the port side. The electronics package also includes an open-array 4 kW radar, a remote spotlight and a SIONYX night-vision system.

Protected helm-deck environment

The hardtop incorporates an electric sunroof, and full side glass encloses the helm-deck area. Mesh windshield privacy curtains add a further layer of screening across the forward glazing.

Real teak finishes the cockpit helm deck, bringing a warm, tactile surface to the command area. A JL premium audio package and Starlink equipment are installed aboard.

Cockpit amenities and open-air seating

The aft cockpit is arranged with high-gloss teak tables and a fold-out bench seat to starboard. An electric cooktop on the helm deck and a top-loading freezer extend the practical amenities close to the cockpit.

A manually deployed bow sunshade provides shade over the forward seating area. Underwater LED lights are fitted, and an engine flush system is installed.

Hull finish and dimensions

The 405 Conquest carries a factory Tectonic Silver painted hull and a modified-V fiberglass hull form. The yacht measures 40 feet overall, with a 13.5-foot beam and a 2.58-foot draft.

Tankage includes 620 gallons of fuel, 90 gallons of water and a 30-gallon holding tank. The yacht is located in Quincy, Massachusetts.
