Helm control and propulsion

Four Mercury Verado 300 V8 DTS outboards deliver 1,200 hp combined on this 2021 Boston Whaler 405 Conquest. Quad joystick piloting integrates Skyhook and autopilot functions, while a second joystick control is fitted to port. Active engine trim, active trim-tab control and an engine flush system complete the running systems.

The helm combines twin 19-inch Raymarine Axiom XL displays with a third 19-inch Axiom XL display to port. Raymarine open-array radar, an AIS 700 transceiver, VHF radio with AIS, VesselView Mobile and a remote spotlight expand the navigation and monitoring suite.

Cockpit living and exterior finish

The cockpit is arranged around two aft tables, aft-facing lounge seating that converts to forward-facing seating with a table, and a starboard foldout bench. A Sureshade retractable sunshade, full side glass, a port-side boarding door and underwater lighting shape the exterior environment.

A cockpit summer kitchen incorporates a refrigerator drawer, Corian worktop, sink with hot and cold fresh water, electric grill and filler board. Port-side and starboard storage arrangements include pull-out drawers, a large cooler and a five-gallon-bucket drawer.

The Awlgrip-painted hull carries a Tectonic Silver finish with silver graphics, complemented by black canvas. Bow lounge seating with drink holders and a manually fitted bow sunshade extend the deck layout forward.

Cabin spaces

The salon pairs teak flooring and rosewood interior trim with a wrap-around dinette and teak table. Dual roof hatches, an opening starboard port window and dimmable LED RGB courtesy lighting serve the main interior space, while a four-step open staircase leads toward the bridge.

The port-side interior galley includes a stainless-steel sink, single-burner electric cooktop, under-counter refrigerator and a separate top-loading freezer beneath the salon seat. A 16,000 BTU air-conditioning system distributes air through cabin vents.

The master stateroom contains a queen-size island berth, side tables, overhead storage, a cedar-lined hanging locker, LED lighting and an overhead hatch to the foredeck. An aft cabin beneath the helm station provides a double berth, hanging locker and below-berth storage.

Head and onboard services

The head connects directly with both the salon and master stateroom. A glass-enclosed stand-up shower, VacuFlush toilet, wash basin, Corian counter and opening port window equip the space.

A 12 kW Fischer Panda generator, watermaker and Cablemaster shore-power reel support the onboard service arrangement. Five solar panels rated at 850 watts, a SmartSolar charge controller, a 600 Ah lithium house battery bank and four AGM engine batteries form the electrical installation.
