Pilothouse command and propulsion

A Volvo D4-320 engine rated at 320 hp forms the core of the 2021 American Tug 362’s propulsion package, with bow and stern thrusters supporting close-quarters control. The yacht has a cruising speed of 7.5 knots and a maximum speed of 15 knots.

The fiberglass semi-displacement hull has a 13.25-foot beam and a 3.42-foot maximum draft. An electric windlass forms part of the ground-tackle arrangement.

Garmin navigation suite

Dual Garmin 8616 chartplotters occupy the pilothouse electronics installation alongside GT51M-THP CHIRP ClearVü/SideVü transducers, a GMR Fantom 24 radar and an AIS 800 black-box transceiver.

A Garmin GHP Reactor 40 autopilot with Shadow Drive, Garmin 315 Marine DSC radio and Fusion MS-AV755 entertainment unit complete the principal onboard Garmin and Fusion equipment. The pilothouse also includes an LLEBROC helm chair and seating for two to port.

Two-stateroom interior

The interior follows a two-stateroom, single-head arrangement. The salon combines an L-shaped galley with solid-surface countertops, dual sinks and storage with two Stressless lounge chairs, ottomans, custom cabinetry and a custom tri-fold table.

A propane stove and oven support the galley, while hydronic diesel heat serves the interior. An EFOY generator adds to the yacht’s onboard power systems.

Aft deck equipment and tender

A full aft overhang extends the covered exterior space, while a solar panel contributes to the electrical arrangement. A Steelhead crane is installed aboard.

An AB Mares console tender with a 20 hp Yamaha accompanies the yacht. The fuel system comprises two 115-gallon tanks, and the freshwater system comprises two 60-gallon tanks; a 45-gallon holding tank is also fitted.
