Triple IPS propulsion and close-quarters control

The 2020 Azimut 60 is configured with three Volvo Penta D8 IPS 700 pod-drive engines, with 2,100 hp stated in total. A Volvo interceptor automatic dynamic-trim system complements the propulsion package.

The helm combines joystick docking with a cockpit joystick maneuvering station, while a dynamic-positioning system supports station keeping. A chain counter at the main helm, double Racor main-engine filters and electric cockpit mooring winches add practical capability for everyday operation.

Helm electronics and onboard systems

The navigation suite includes Raymarine Platinum equipment, an AIS 700, video cameras and an M232 thermal camera. A co-pilot seat accompanies the main helm, and painted GPS and radar domes complete the exterior installation.

A Seakeeper gyro stabilizer is fitted aboard, together with a Glendinning Cablemaster, central vacuum system, audio-video package and USB socket.

Interior arrangement and finishes

The interior has three cabins and a separate crew cabin with its own head and air conditioning. The master cabin includes a safe, drawer chest and armchair, while the VIP and guest cabins have closet mirrors.

Wood flooring runs through the salon and stairway, with a quartz galley counter and marble head counters. The salon incorporates a hi-lo table, fabric curtains, an electric blackout awning at the roof and enhanced lighting in the salon and VIP cabin.

The galley is equipped with a Miele microwave combination unit and cooktop, while a washer-dryer combination unit supports extended time aboard.

Outdoor living and tender handling

Teak finishes the cockpit, swim platform, side walkways and bow. The aft cockpit includes furniture, a table, Batyline cushions, an electric awning, an ice maker, barbecue, drawer refrigerator, cover and cockpit chair.

The foredeck carries a manual bimini, and the exterior is finished in Ural Grey metallic paint. A tender garage, garage curtain and dedicated launching system accommodate the Williams 325 tender.
