Flybridge living and open-air entertaining

The 2018 Sea Ray L650 Fly combines an enclosed main-deck helm with a fully equipped flybridge, creating distinct spaces for piloting, dining and relaxation. The flybridge carries a port-side helm, two large tables with wraparound seating, a forward lounge, an electric grill, refrigerator, ice maker, convertible top and aft sunshade.

The aft cockpit extends the outdoor arrangement with teak decking, an electric grill, refrigerator and a dedicated docking station. Port-side stairs lead to the flybridge, while side decks on both port and starboard provide access to the bow lounge, where wraparound seating frames the forward deck.

Dual-station control and manoeuvring systems

Twin Caterpillar C18 diesel engines provide propulsion, while two Seakeeper gyro stabilizers support a more settled ride. The yacht uses a straight-shaft drivetrain and carries bow and stern thrusters.

The interior helm on the starboard side of the salon and the flybridge helm each carry dual Raymarine Axiom multifunction displays, Caterpillar engine displays, Sea Ray system monitors, joystick control and throttle-and-shift controls. An aft joystick docking station adds a further control point for close-quarters manoeuvring.

Salon, galley and dining

Large glass sliding doors connect the cockpit with a main salon arranged around an L-shaped sofa, coffee table, built-in cabinetry and a port-side loveseat. Wood flooring and solid-surface countertops contribute to the interior finish.

The midship galley incorporates a four-drawer refrigerator/freezer, separate wine cooler, convection microwave, three-burner electric cooktop, dishwasher and double-bowl sink. A starboard dining table with wraparound seating sits beside a raised bar with two stools.

Four-cabin accommodation

The accommodation layout includes an aft owner’s cabin with a queen berth, built-in cabinetry, refrigerator and en-suite bathroom with double sinks, toilet and shower. A forward VIP cabin contains a queen berth and an en-suite bathroom with toilet, sink and shower.

Two additional convertible twin cabins sit on the lower deck, with a separate day head including a sink, toilet and shower enclosure. A full-size washer and dryer are fitted outside the cabin area, while a central vacuum system serves the interior.

Onboard support equipment

An Onan 29.5 kW generator supports onboard electrical service. The yacht also carries cockpit covers, full windshield covers and a lazarette/crew-quarters area.
