Lake Lanier pedigree

The 2018 Prestige 500S has spent its life on Lake Lanier and is located in Buford, Georgia. The 49.83-foot fiberglass cruiser combines a deep-V hull with pod-drive propulsion, a 14.75-foot beam, and a 3.33-foot minimum draft.

The yacht carries 343 gallons of fuel and 168 gallons of water, while an electric windlass supports anchoring operations.

Volvo IPS propulsion and onboard systems

Twin Volvo D6-IPS 600 diesel engines provide propulsion, with 870 hp recorded for the installation and 355 engine hours. Cockpit joystick controls complement the pod-drive arrangement.

An Onan 13.5 kW generator supports the yacht’s onboard systems. May 2025 service work included complete engine servicing, pod-drive and anode service, replacement of all batteries, engine fluids and filters, impellers, air filters, crankcase filters, and a full generator service.

The tropical air-conditioning package, satellite TV system, security-camera system, underwater lights, and upgraded JL Audio sound system extend the onboard specification.

Teak cockpit and open-air deck spaces

The full-teak cockpit creates a defined entertaining area with a finished teak cockpit table and cockpit icemaker. A retractable electric cockpit awning provides adjustable shade over the aft deck.

The hydraulic swim platform adds a flexible waterside platform. Forward, the foredeck carries a bimini and Princess sun pad, while fender baskets are fitted on the pulpit.

Three-cabin interior

The 2018 Prestige 500S has three cabins and two bathrooms, including a full-beam owner’s suite. Grey oak interior finishes are paired with wenge hardwood flooring and carpet.

The interior is equipped with a washer-and-dryer combination and a safe in the master stateroom. The Trim Level Excellence Package and Raymarine electronics package form part of the yacht’s fitted equipment.
