Vessel overview
The 2015 Monte Carlo Yachts MCY 86 combines a wide-body profile with an expansive main salon and a direct connection to the aft deck. Natural light fills the principal interior living area, while the yacht’s Italian styling carries through the accommodation and exterior spaces.
A full-beam master stateroom occupies the amidships section, accompanied by three further guest cabins. Separate crew quarters are arranged aft, and the accommodation includes five bathrooms.
The flybridge brings together several seating areas and a dedicated helm station beneath the yacht’s elevated profile. Varnished cockpit and flybridge tables were renewed during the 2023 refit work.
A forward bow lounge creates a second open-air seating area, while the hydraulic swim platform provides a water-level connection at the stern. Hydraulic lines for the entry doors, port and starboard balconies, garage, and engine-room door were renewed in 2023.
Twin MAN V12 1900 engines deliver 3,800 hp in total through V-drive transmissions. The MCY 86 has a reported cruising speed of 24 knots and a maximum speed of 29 knots.
The fiberglass deep-V hull measures 86 feet overall, with a 21.17-foot beam and a maximum draft of 6.25 feet. Tankage includes 1,876 gallons of fuel, 396 gallons of water, and a 100-gallon holding tank.
The 2023 refit included new MAN 1900 engines, a reconditioned exhaust system with new spray heads, reconditioned propellers, and updated engine displays. The garage and engine-room door also received new paint.
Interior work included new carpet throughout, refurbished and re-cushioned sofas, new lighting in the staterooms and bathrooms, a larger television in the master stateroom, and a new ice maker. The yacht is located in Admirals Cove, Florida.
