Command Bridge and helm environment

The 2014 Marlow 80 Explorer carries an enclosed Command Bridge with access from an internal wood staircase and the upper aft deck. The helm is arranged with four 19-inch KEP displays, Furuno electronics, a Stidd helm chair and a Stidd dual companion chair.

The Command Bridge combines a full aft dinette with extensive seating and a day head. The enclosed bridge provides 360-degree sightlines around the yacht.

Salon, galley and interior finish

The salon is entered through double doors from the lower aft deck and is finished with book-matched Burmese teak woodwork, custom bookcases and cabinetry, high-gloss teak-and-holly flooring, and custom furniture. Camphor burl accents extend to the master-stateroom headboard.

The forward open galley is paired with an oversized U-shaped dinette beneath the forward brow windows. Port and starboard doors from this area lead directly to the walk decks.

Three-stateroom accommodation

The full-beam master stateroom is arranged around a centerline king berth and includes separate his-and-hers heads. The forward VIP stateroom has a centerline queen berth, two upper single berths and an en-suite head.

The port guest stateroom contains oversized side-by-side berths and an en-suite head. Aft crew accommodation includes a queen berth, a convertible U-shaped dinette, a single berth above the dinette, a crew head and a private shower.

Exterior decks and anchoring arrangement

The upper aft deck pairs an L-shaped lounge with a 96-by-38-inch high-gloss teak table, a Sub-Zero refrigerator with ice maker, a Wolf grill, four teak deck chairs and a hydraulic Aritex 1,600-pound davit.

Teak flooring runs across the lower exterior deck, while molded staircases connect the swim deck and upper deck. Port and starboard boarding gates, double salon doors, wing doors to the walk decks, and a large storage cabinet with cockpit controls shape the lower aft-deck arrangement.

The foredeck adds storage and seating, while dual windlasses and ground tackle support the anchoring system.
