Pilothouse and Cockpit Connection

The 2014 Hinckley Talaria 43 Motoryacht centres life aboard around a climate-controlled pilothouse that opens directly to the cockpit through a frameless retractable glass aft enclosure. Large power sliding side windows, fixed forward glass and electrically actuated overhead hatches bring light and ventilation into the space, while reverse-cycle air conditioning and heat serve the pilothouse.

Gloss-varnished cherry joinery, teak-and-tulipwood soles and opposing L-shaped settees establish a warm, tailored interior. Two electrically adjustable Stidd helm seats, an adjustable cherry table, a fold-down smart TV with Apple TV and a 12-bottle wine cooler equip the pilothouse for time at anchor or underway.

The cockpit carries opposing L-shaped settees with storage beneath, 2025 Sunbrella Heritage Sky cushions, a gloss-varnished teak table with compass-rose inlay and an Isotherm refrigerator. A SureShade electric retractable sunshade, hot-and-cold shower, starboard boarding door and teak-treaded swim platform extend the space toward the water.

Galley and Accommodation

The raised galley occupies the forward port side of the pilothouse, keeping food preparation connected to the main living area. A polished Absolute Black granite counter, under-mounted stainless-steel sink, U-Line two-drawer refrigerator, two-burner propane cooktop and convection microwave form the principal galley installation, with dedicated drawers and lockers providing dry-goods and glass storage.

The forward master cabin has a centreline queen berth with a Handcraft Mattress System 5 mattress, drawers beneath, a cedar-lined hanging locker, additional lockers and a built-in safe. An overhead hatch, dimmable LED lighting, swing-arm reading lamps, television and separate stereo controls complete the cabin.

The guest cabin has a settee that converts to a double berth, a hanging locker, a custom mattress, television and 2025 Eberly Peacock cushions. The shared head has companionway and master-cabin access, a VacuFlush toilet, granite vanity and a separate shower enclosure with a teak slatted seat.

Jet Propulsion and Helm Systems

Twin Cummins QSB 6.7-litre 550 hp common-rail diesels drive Hamilton 322 jet drives through Twin Disc reverse gears. The propulsion installation includes electronic single-lever controls, SmartCraft VesselView displays, hydraulic steering, trim tabs and a proportionally controlled hydraulic bow thruster.

Hinckley JetStick II integrates steering and low-speed motion control with H-Lock automatic positioning and heading-hold functions. A 2022 HS60 heading-hold antenna supports the JetStick system.

The helm electronics include two Raymarine e165 hybrid-touch multifunction displays, a Raymarine 48-inch HD open-array radar, Evolution autopilot, CAM100 day/night reverse-image camera, GPS antenna, Standard Horizon Matrix GX3000S VHF and an upgraded Garmin GPSMAP 8610 XSV. Starlink was installed in 2025, and Cummins engine information is interfaced with the Raymarine navigation system.

Deck Detail and Onboard Services

Natural-finish teak covers the cockpit sole, side decks and foredeck, framed by a gloss-varnished teak toe rail and handrails. The Majestic Blue Awlgrip topsides, light cream gelcoat and double cream boot stripe define the exterior finish.

The foredeck carries a 35 lb stainless-steel anchor, Maxwell electric windlass, stainless-steel roller and a rode comprising 35 feet of 3/8-inch chain and 200 feet of 5/8-inch nylon line. A raw-water washdown serves the anchor locker, while LED lighting is integrated into the stainless-steel bowrail.

Nine full-colour Lumishore LED underwater lights illuminate the transom and hullsides. A 13.5 kW Onan generator, Victron inverter/charger, 2024 house and starting batteries, 100-gallon fresh-water tank and reverse-cycle climate system support onboard systems.
