Planing Performance and Control

The 2014 Ferretti Yachts 960 combines a GRP planing hull with twin MTU 16V 2000 M94 engines rated at 2,630 hp each. The propulsion package is paired with a stated cruising speed of 26 knots and a stated maximum speed of 30 knots.

Zero-speed stabilizers support comfort at rest, while bow and stern thrusters provide close-quarters maneuvering control. Two 27 kW ONAN generators supply onboard electrical power.

Flybridge and Exterior Details

The flybridge is fitted with a hardtop, and teak finishes extend across the cockpit and side decks. Underwater lights add illumination around the yacht after dark.

A hydraulic swim platform creates a direct connection to the water, while the aft floodable garage is arranged for tender stowage. A passerelle completes the boarding arrangement.

Four-Cabin Interior Configuration

The interior has a custom four-cabin layout with five heads. Air conditioning and a watermaker support extended time aboard.

The domestic equipment includes a dishwasher, washer/dryer and ice maker. The entertainment installation combines a stereo system, satellite TV and cockpit speakers.

Navigation and Onboard Readiness

The helm navigation suite includes a chartplotter, radar, autopilot, AIS, GPS and VHF. The safety inventory includes a life raft, EPIRB, fire extinguishers, flares and a first-aid kit.
