Carbon rig and 2022 renewal

The 2013 Oyster 885 is a GRP sloop designed by Rob Humphreys and launched in 2013 as the second hull in the Oyster 885 series. The yacht’s sailing arrangement combines a Hall Spars carbon mast, Future Fibres ECSix Carbon rigging renewed in 2022, and a furling boom.

The 2013 Oyster 885 completed an extensive refit in May 2022, including hull paint, interior upholstery, onboard IT and AV systems, and a 4.35-metre jet tender.

Light-filled saloon and aft master suite

The aft master cabin is framed by Oyster’s triple seascape windows, bringing natural light into the private accommodation. The raised main saloon uses wraparound windows to open the interior to the surrounding seascape.

A starboard U-shaped sofa and expandable coffee tables on rise-and-fall mechanisms give the saloon a flexible lounge and dining arrangement. Bespoke timber furniture, a bar, a wine fridge, an ice maker, and glass cabinetry form part of the 2022 interior work by Design Unlimited.

Guest and crew accommodation

Four guest cabins accommodate up to eight guests. Two crew cabins accommodate four crew, while the captain’s cabin has a double berth and provision for an additional bunk.

The 2013 Oyster 885 has four bathrooms.

Open-air spaces and water access

A split cockpit creates separate areas for dining and relaxation, while the open deck layout extends to a large hydraulic bathing platform. The platform provides a broad connection to the water for swimming and tender boarding.

The foredeck tender well stows the 4.35-metre jet tender and becomes a recessed lounge area when the tender is afloat. A sun pad and cushions complete this adaptable foredeck space.

Palma base

The 2013 Oyster 885 is located in Palma, Islas Baleares. The yacht has MCA Category 2 commercial compliance; current certification status should be confirmed before any commercial operation.
