Interior and accommodation

The 2012 Royal 45 combines a steel hull and superstructure with teak decks, while the interior is by Dara Kirmizitoprak and incorporates built-in art installations by Yorgos Kypris. A Crestron automation and entertainment system integrates lighting, blinds and shades, supported by ABB illumination, Marantz and Focal hi-fi, KNS satellite television, VSAT internet and Wi-Fi through six access points.

Accommodation comprises an owner’s suite, a VIP stateroom and two twin staterooms for eight guests. The four guest cabins are insulated and structurally decoupled as floating cabins to reduce noise and vibration, with Hästens mattresses fitted throughout. Three double crew cabins sit alongside a dedicated crew galley and rest area.

Rig, sail plan and handling systems

The 2012 Royal 45 carries a 1,030 m² sail plan with a 250 m² main, 150 m² mizzen, 180 m² genoa, 90 m² staysail and 360 m² light genoa. Park Avenue main and mizzen booms, Velena Spars aluminium spars, SS316 swage rigging, Dyneema lines, Bamar furlers and Harken electric winches form the sailing arrangement.

Hidromarin hydraulic steering, a Side Power SH1000/513 bow thruster and Trac 440 stabilizers operate underway and at anchor. Teinbridge aluminium-bronze propellers and a Hidromarin electro-hydraulic system with Rexroth and Danfoss pumps complete the principal handling equipment.

Dual-station navigation suite

The main bridge and flybridge each provide a helm position, with navigation equipment renewed in 2025. The suite includes Furuno TZT3 16-inch displays, four Hatteland monitors, Furuno 6-foot and 4-foot radars, a Furuno TZT2 Black Box, Furuno NavNet 3D and a Simrad A2004 autopilot with Precision-9 compass.

Communication and situational-awareness equipment includes Furuno VHF, a Sailor satellite phone, Furuno LH 5000 intercom with five units, a FLIR camera, Furuno SC150 satellite compass, Garmin GPS 24xd antenna, Sperry repeater compass and Ritchie magnetic compass.

Water access and onboard services

The aft lazarette forms a beach-club area with a hydraulic beach door, swim platform, 750 kg hydraulic crane, Bauer Junior II diving compressor and dedicated storage for toys and diving gear. An Ezberci 5.5-metre hydraulic telescopic passerelle, hydraulic boarding ladder, hydraulic transom door and hydraulic swimming ladder support access at the water.

Two Sea Recovery watermakers each produce 180 litres per hour. The Schiffini galley is fitted with Gaggenau appliances, while oversized cold storage, ice makers in the galley and aft deck, and a Miele laundry installation serve the domestic spaces. Condoria air-conditioning and Cruise Air fresh-air chiller systems manage the interior climate.
