Vessel overview
The 2011 Passport 470 Center Cockpit combines a Bob Perry-designed hull with a centre-cockpit configuration and displacement hull form. The sail plan includes an in-mast furling spar, furling genoa and staysail, supported by a full sail inventory.
Sail-handling equipment includes oversized winches, an electric utility winch and an electric windlass. A dodger and bimini provide protection around the cockpit.
The navigation package includes instrumentation and radar/chart plotters. Air conditioning, refrigeration and a diesel generator support onboard comfort and electrical independence.
Solar panels and a wind generator complement the onboard charging arrangement. A Yanmar 4JH4-TE diesel engine rated at 75 hp provides auxiliary power.
The Passport 470 Center Cockpit has a double walk-through arrangement with two staterooms and two heads. Each head includes a separate shower stall.
Granite countertops and UltraLeather upholstery shape the interior finish. Refrigeration is fitted within the onboard domestic systems.
The deck and interior incorporate substantial storage, including a deck-accessed transom compartment aft of the cockpit and storage forward of the watertight bulkhead. The 47-foot yacht has a 14.17-foot beam, a maximum draft of 6 feet and bridge clearance of 63.5 feet.
The Passport 470 Center Cockpit is located in Beaufort, North Carolina.
