Refit and exterior finish

The 2009 Pershing 72 received a refit exceeding $500,000 in 2020. The yacht also received a full paint job in 2017.

Helm and onboard control

Garmin chartplotter and radar electronics form the navigation suite. A stern thruster supports close-quarters maneuvering, while upgraded RTI universal remotes serve the staterooms and salon.

The yacht carries a tiller arrangement at the helm.

Salon comfort and connectivity

Salon windows carry V-Cool treatment, and electric blinds are fitted in the upper salon. Extra salon air conditioning works with Dometic AC chillers for climate control.

A KVH satellite TV system and wireless internet router support onboard entertainment and connectivity. Custom mattresses are fitted across the onboard beds.

Power, tankage and accommodation

Twin MTU 1823 engines deliver 3,646 hp, with a recorded cruising speed of 40 knots and maximum speed of 44 knots. The 2009 Pershing 72 has a 72-foot overall length, an 18.67-foot beam and a maximum draft of 4.58 feet.

The yacht has three cabins and three bathrooms. Fuel capacity is 1,189 gallons, water capacity is 262 gallons, and onboard systems include a Fischer Panda additional generator, watermaker and Dale ER bilge pumps.
