Vessel overview
The 2008 Azimut 116 carries Stefano Righini exterior design and underwent an extensive refit between October 2022 and April 2024. The work included repainting the hull, superstructure and interior, alongside renewed exterior furniture, cushions and upholstery.
Teak decking was rebuilt on the sundeck, aft deck, foredeck and swim platform, while teak elsewhere received new caulking. The interior was repainted and redesigned by Margherita Casprini in a lighter colour palette.
The sundeck brings together sunbeds, a fully equipped bar and dining for 12 beneath a wide hardtop. An electrically operated skylight roof adds open-air flexibility above the dining setting.
The stern incorporates a full-size garage door and a beach door, extending the connection between the aft end of the yacht and the water.
The accommodation layout comprises six cabins for up to 14 guests. The lower deck contains a full-beam master suite with private access, two VIP cabins and two twin cabins, each with an additional Pullman berth.
A sixth cabin sits forward on the main deck and is arranged as a TV room and office, with a large sofa bed and a Pullman berth. Separate lower-deck crew accommodation has its own access apart from the guest areas.
The 2008 Azimut 116 is powered by twin MTU 16V 2000 M93 diesel engines, each rated at 2,400 hp. The yacht has a stated cruising speed of 24 knots and a stated maximum speed of 28 knots.
Two hydraulic digital ABT Trac fins provide zero-speed stabilisation. The refit also included a replacement air-conditioning system and the rebuilding of both generators.
The yacht is located in Palma, Islas Baleares.
