Vessel overview
The 2007 West Bay Yacht Fisherman combines a pilothouse arrangement with a factory-extended galley and pilothouse area. A 24-inch extension adds interior room in this central part of the yacht, while a further four-foot extension enlarges the fishing cockpit.
The cockpit gives the yacht a dedicated working deck area, and the pilothouse configuration keeps navigation at the centre of the onboard layout.
Twin MTU 10V 2000 engines drive the yacht through direct-drive propulsion. The propulsion specification is 3,000 hp, with a 20-knot cruising speed and a 28-knot maximum speed.
The fiberglass semi-displacement hull has a 20.42-foot beam and a 5-foot minimum draft. Tankage includes 3,000 gallons of fuel, 600 gallons of water and a 200-gallon holding tank.
The helm is fitted with upgraded SIMRAD electronics. Wesmar hydraulic bow and stern thrusters assist close-quarters manoeuvring, while Wesmar hydraulic fin stabilizers support a more settled motion underway.
The yacht operates on a 24V electrical circuit and uses an electric windlass.
The yacht carries a Zodiac Yachtline 460DL tender powered by a 90 hp Yamaha four-stroke engine. The tender arrangement adds a dedicated auxiliary craft to the onboard equipment package.
