Command stations and deck access

The 2007 Fleming 55 combines an enclosed pilothouse with a flybridge helm, joined by interior steps and supplemented by a cockpit control station. The pilothouse carries Furuno radar and navigation displays, a Furuno FA-30 AIS receiver, Simrad AP25 autopilot, Icom M802 SSB, Icom M504 VHF, FLIR thermal camera, CCTV cameras, Glendinning electronic controls, and bow and stern thruster controls.

Sliding pilothouse doors open directly onto the Portuguese bridge decks, while a raised L-shaped settee and teak table occupy the aft port side of the wheelhouse. The flybridge adds a Furuno display, Simrad autopilot, Icom VHF, engine controls, thruster controls, windlass control, and a bench helm seat.

Teak-lined living spaces

The salon is arranged with satin-finished teak cabinetry, teak-and-holly sole, opening windows, a port-side L-shaped settee, a fixed teak hi-lo table, and a full-length starboard credenza. A port-aft bar incorporates an ice maker, while a 32-inch Vizio television rises from a hydraulic lift in the starboard-aft cabinet.

The port-side galley is separated from the salon by a granite peninsula and teak cabinetry. Its U-shaped arrangement includes a KitchenAid refrigerator with bottom freezer and teak paneling, three-burner Brandt induction cooktop, Sharp convection microwave, Miele dishwasher, stainless-steel double sink, trash compactor, and dumbwaiter to the flybridge.

Three-cabin accommodation

The lower deck contains three cabins and two heads. The forward master cabin has a Handcraft queen island berth, under-berth storage, twin overhead skylights, port and starboard portholes, hanging lockers, cabinetry, a 23-inch Toshiba television, and an en-suite head with molded shower, granite counter, and electric-flush toilet.

The port VIP cabin features a queen berth with an outboard slide-out bunk, desk or credenza, hanging locker, dresser, and vanity. The starboard guest cabin has twin bunks, with an upper berth that slides outward or retracts for additional headroom. A Bosch 220V washer and separate dryer sit beside the guest and day head.

Propulsion, onboard systems and exterior equipment

Twin 500hp Cummins QSC8.3L common-rail, turbocharged and after-cooled diesel engines drive through an Aquadrive system. Hydraulic steering, ABT hydraulic fin stabilizers, a 17hp Side Power bow thruster, a 12hp Sidepower stern thruster, electric oil-change and fuel-transfer systems, and Glendinning electronic controls form part of the mechanical installation.

The electrical system includes 220V AC and 24V DC service, an Onan 17kW generator, an Onan 9kW generator, a 3500W Outback inverter, and a Phase Three 45A/24V charger. Reverse-cycle air conditioning serves four zones, and a Village Marine 220V watermaker is fitted.

Natural teak decks extend across the walk-around side decks and flybridge, framed by varnished teak rails and a Portuguese bridge. The boat deck carries a Steelhead SM800R 800lb electric-hydraulic davit, a 2007 Caribe DX11 tender with 2015 Yamaha 40hp outboard, and a green bimini with removable enclosure. A Lofrans electric windlass handles chain on both sides, and the ground tackle includes a 77lb Ultra anchor with swivel and 300 feet of chain.
