About this yacht

Decks shaped for time on the water

The 2006 Lazzara 68 Motoryacht combines a flybridge helm with a cockpit finished in synthetic teak, continued on the bridge stairs and swim platform. Non-skid surfaces cover the flybridge and bow, while the cockpit includes a rebuilt table and the flybridge carries updated helm seating.

The foredeck anchoring arrangement includes windlass foot controls, an Ultra 135 lb stainless-steel anchor and 400 feet of chain. Exterior lighting includes LED deck lighting and eight Lumitec underwater lights.

A 4.17-foot maximum draft, direct-drive running gear and Trac stabilization form part of the yacht’s cruising configuration.

Connected helm stations

The helm stations integrate Garmin navigation with Navionics, VHF, autopilot, HD radar and sonar. CAT digital engine displays and Garmin/CAT engine monitoring are connected through NMEA 2000, while upgraded Trac stabilizer displays serve both helms.

The onboard communications system includes Starlink Marine with Wi-Fi boosters throughout the yacht. Exterior-aft and engine-room cameras, XM HD weather radar and new bow- and stern-thruster joystick controls add to the operational equipment.

Four-stateroom interior

The accommodation plan includes four staterooms and five bathrooms, with an on-deck day head. Custom mattresses serve all staterooms, while refreshed interior elements include soft goods, headliners, flooring, wall finishes, window shades and overhead LED lighting.

The salon features updated furniture, newly upholstered sofa seating, OLED televisions in the salon and master stateroom, and surround-sound speakers. The galley includes updated appliances and a Perlick wine refrigerator.

Mechanical and onboard systems

Twin CAT C-18 direct-drive diesel engines power the yacht. The engine package has received a 1,000-hour service that included new heat exchangers and aftercoolers, along with replacement of selected hoses, mounts, zincs and gauges.

The Trac stabilization system has rebuilt pumps, tanks, pins and hydraulic connections. The yacht also carries a serviced 27.5 kW generator and a 13.5 kW secondary Onan generator with digital display.

The watermaker has rebuilt filters, sensors and membranes, together with a watermaker intake pump. Replacement and upgrade work also extends to battery chargers, batteries, AC units and compressors, the AC raw-water pump, bilge pumps, fire-suppression equipment, hydraulic steering ram, sea-strainer housings and an engine-room emergency pump. The engine room has LED ceiling lighting, painted finishes and updated hydraulic struts.

Shore power and underwater gear

The shore-power arrangement includes a 100-foot, 100-amp shore-power cord and a shore-power cable master motor. Headhunter-to-Garmin digital displays serve the water, black-water and fuel-tank sensors.

The underwater running gear has reconditioned propellers with Prop Speed treatment and new cutlass bearings. The bottom has been taken to gelcoat, barrier coated and repainted.
