Sky-Lounge Command and Social Space

The 2006 Carver 56 Voyager combines an enclosed sky-lounge pilothouse with a large L-shaped settee and an adjustable Flexsteel helm chair. Garmin electronics serve both the pilothouse helm and the flybridge, with the navigation upgrade completed in October 2024.

The flybridge and its aft deck form an elevated outdoor living area with climate control and generous seating. A starboard-side deck door at the pilothouse creates a direct route between the helm area and the side deck.

Interior Joinery and Main-Deck Living

High-gloss cherry joinery and cabinetry define the interior, while custom light-ash flooring runs through the salon, sky-lounge pilothouse, curved companionway staircase and companionway. The galley shares the salon level, preserving an open connection between the principal interior spaces.

The salon includes an Ultraleather sofa, retractable television and surround-sound system. The arrangement brings the main social spaces together on one level beneath the enclosed pilothouse.

Three-Cabin Layout

The 2006 Carver 56 Voyager has three staterooms and two heads. The full-beam master stateroom incorporates two large porthole windows, while the master and forward VIP staterooms each have private head access.

The third stateroom is arranged with over-under bunk berths. Pillow-top innerspring mattresses are fitted in the master and forward VIP staterooms.

Propulsion, Docking and Onboard Support

Twin Volvo D-12 diesel engines deliver 675 horsepower each. Volvo Penta QL 24-volt bow and stern thrusters, together with a Dockmate wireless joystick remote, form the yacht’s close-quarters maneuvering equipment.

A hydraulically operated swim platform, dinghy davit and aft Glendinning CM7 CableMaster shore-power cord system expand the yacht’s waterfront and dockside capability. A 25 kW Kohler generator in a sound shield was installed in August 2024.
