Vessel overview
The 2006 Carver 46 Motor Yacht pairs twin Volvo Penta D9 diesel engines with direct-drive propulsion and a modified-V fiberglass hull. A Dockmate control system operates the engines, bow and stern thrusters, and anchor, while a replacement bow thruster is fitted for close-quarters manoeuvring.
The helm carries two Garmin chartplotters, autopilot, radar, VHF and stereo equipment. Starlink is installed aboard, and LED bulbs serve the navigation and interior lighting.
A factory hardtop defines the bridge area, while the covered aft deck extends the protected outdoor living space. Six air-conditioning units serve the yacht, with two-zone air conditioning for the bridge and aft deck.
A transom-mounted Dinghy Butler lift includes remote control and a solar battery charger. The ground-tackle arrangement includes a Mantus 65 lb anchor and bridle, and a Magma grill is fitted on deck.
The full-width salon creates an open central living area, finished with cherry woodwork and custom flooring. A mid-level galley includes a household-size refrigerator, and interior headroom is approximately six and a half feet.
Fore and aft staterooms each carry a queen berth, with an additional mid-berth cabin incorporated into the accommodation layout.
The Carver measures 46.92 feet overall, with a 14.67-foot beam and a 3.67-foot maximum draft. The yacht carries 480 gallons of fuel, 130 gallons of water and an 80-gallon holding tank.
Jacksonville, Florida is the yacht’s current location.
