Accommodation and interior arrangement

The 2004 Cheoy Lee 81 Sport Yacht, Break Away, accommodates up to eight guests across four cabins, each with an ensuite bath. A separate crew area provides upper and lower berths with its own shower and head.

The interior carries 6 ft 8 in of headroom throughout, while the 21.08 ft beam supports generous volume across the accommodation and entertaining areas. The galley received a replacement floor, and the master and twin bathrooms and day head received replacement wallpaper.

Power, hull form and underway comfort

Twin Caterpillar 3412E engines deliver 2,800 hp in total through V-drive propulsion. The composite modified-vee hull has a 5.42 ft maximum draft, with a recorded cruising speed of 17 knots and maximum speed of 21 knots.

Fin stabilizers are fitted to the yacht, complementing the broad 21.08 ft beam and 81 ft overall length. Tankage includes 2,400 gallons of fuel, 500 gallons of water and a 242-gallon holding tank.

Decks, connectivity and lighting

Walkaround decks create direct movement around the exterior, while multiple indoor and outdoor entertaining areas extend the yacht’s social layout. The walkaround decks and transom were repainted in 2023, and the hull below the rub rail was repainted in 2018.

Starlink was installed in 2022, and LED lighting was fitted throughout in the same year. The yacht also received a bottom job in 2023.

Tender and onboard inventory

A 14 ft Walker Bay Venture tender with a 70 hp engine accompanies Break Away, together with assorted inflatables. The onboard inventory also includes more than $40,000 in spare parts.

The engine room and exterior received detailing, while Whisper Walls and ceilings were replaced as part of more recent interior work.
