Vessel overview
The 2003 Magna Marine Nova Scotia 47 combines true walkaround decks with an enclosed pilothouse and a flybridge. Dual helm stations give the yacht two command positions, while Garmin navigation electronics and a Garmin autopilot support route monitoring and steering control.
The Dockmate wireless remote docking system, 24-volt bow thruster and 24-volt stern thruster form part of the yacht’s close-quarters handling equipment. The flybridge adds an open-air command and seating area above the main deck.
The interior includes a heated and air-conditioned pantry, a walk-in closet and extensive storage throughout the yacht. The galley refrigeration arrangement includes a large refrigerator and freezer, supplemented by a Dometic chest refrigerator/freezer in the pantry.
Multiple air-conditioning systems serve the yacht, and a dedicated 12-volt pilothouse air-conditioning unit operates underway without generator power. A washer and dryer add practical onboard laundry capacity.
The electrical installation includes a Victron inverter/charger system, Cerbo GX monitoring, SmartSolar MPPT equipment, automatic transfer switching and a Sentry backup charging system. The solar charging system is rated at 765 watts, and the yacht has a carbon battery bank dated 2026.
A 17 kW Onan generator with automatic generator start is part of the onboard power arrangement. A Sea Recovery watermaker, rebuilt with new membranes, supports freshwater production aboard.
A stand-up walk-in engine room provides access to machinery and service equipment. The machinery installation also includes a fuel-polishing system and a Reverso oil-change system.
A Wesmar stabilizer system, serviced in May 2023, is fitted aboard. The yacht also carries a 2022 Highfield Classic CL310 Hypalon center-console tender with a 20 HP Tohatsu outboard, together with a Dinghy Butler upgrade.
The Magna Marine Nova Scotia 47 is located in Palm Coast, Florida.
