Vessel overview
The 2003 Custom Floating Marina is configured as a steel barge with a broad 35-foot beam, a 40-by-16-foot deck, and a top-deck hot tub. A large lower-level gathering area accommodates approximately 100 people, while the upper deck and dockside areas extend the available outdoor space.
Automatic solar flood lights and switchable LED deck lighting illuminate the exterior after dark. A 15-by-8-foot electronic billboard forms part of the installation.
The onboard electrical arrangement combines solar panels rated at up to 12 kW, 20 100-amp 48-volt lithium batteries, and an enclosed 40 kW Yanmar generator. Air conditioning is part of the onboard electrical load.
A 40-gph watermaker, 70-gallon bladder tank, icemaker, and a 750-gallon water tank support onboard water and ice production. The barge also carries a 55-gallon holding tank.
The Custom Floating Marina has one cabin and six bathrooms. A nine-camera security system supports remote monitoring, and Starlink equipment provides onboard internet connectivity.
Twin 300 hp Suzuki engines are fitted, and the barge has a maximum draft of 1.5 feet.
The 2003 Custom Floating Marina is located in Riviera Beach, Florida. The mooring position is near Peanut Island in Palm Beach waters.
