Planing-catamaran form and protected helm

The 2001 SeaSport Pacific 3200 combines a fiberglass planing-catamaran hull with an enclosed pilothouse, a 12.67-foot beam and a 32.17-foot length overall. The hull carries deep-V twin hulls, molded non-skid decks, cockpit scuppers and a reinforced square transom with an aluminum offshore outboard bracket.

The centerline helm sits behind a forward-raked three-panel windshield and is complemented by sliding cabin windows, a lockable aft cabin door and a dedicated helm seat. SeaStar hydraulic steering, a power-steering pump, Lenco electric trim tabs and stainless-steel trim planes form the principal running controls.

Outboard power and onboard electrical systems

Twin Mercury 300HP four-stroke outboards provide the main propulsion, with dual Mercury electronic binnacle controls and visual and audible engine alarms at the helm. The engines show approximately 550 hours each. A Mercury kicker adds auxiliary propulsion and integrates with the Garmin autopilot.

The fuel system uses two 150-gallon aluminum tanks for 300 gallons of total capacity, with separate fills and vents, Racor fuel-and-water separators and engine-mounted spin-on filters. The electrical installation includes three 12V 4D batteries, two Group 27 batteries, Blue Sea Systems battery switches, a ProMariner ProNautic 12-50P charger and a 2,200-watt Giandel pure sine-wave inverter.

The shore-power system has a Marinco 30A/125V inlet, an AC breaker panel, GFCI-protected outlets and a Professional Mariner Zinc Saver II galvanic isolator. The 2022 work included electrical wiring and hydraulic steering updates, including a helm pump and steering lines.

Helm electronics and working cockpit

The helm is equipped with a Garmin GPSMAP 1040xs chartplotter, Garmin radar, transducer and autopilot, alongside Icom IC-F5021 and IC-M424G VHF radios, a Ritchie 3-inch compass and a Fusion MS-RA70NSX stereo. The 2022 work also included Garmin electronics, lighting and the helm console.

The aft cockpit centers on a cutting and bait-preparation board and includes two Scotty Depthpower electric downriggers on swiveling mounts. Six clamp-on stainless-steel rod holders line the aft cabin rail, while five integrated rod holders are set into the cockpit gunwales.

Port and starboard under-deck fish boxes and a centerline fish box support the cockpit arrangement. A Jabsco Hot Shot raw-water washdown pump, Schedule 80 aluminum davit, cockpit LED lighting, underwater LED stern lights and two forward-facing Vision X LED light bars complete the deck equipment.

Cabin arrangement and domestic equipment

The enclosed cabin places the galley aft to port, an L-shaped dinette to starboard and the helm on centerline. The accommodation arrangement includes a forward berth to starboard, a midship single berth to port and a convertible dinette, with seating for approximately six at the dinette.

The port-side galley has a stainless-steel sink, Magic Chef mini refrigerator and Hillerange LPG marine stove with a three-burner cooktop and integrated oven. The enclosed head includes a sink, shower capability, Type III marine sanitation system, holding tank and deck pump-out fitting.

The freshwater system combines a 60-gallon tank, SPXFLOW 12V pump and Force 10 Marine six-gallon water heater. A Planar diesel-fired cabin heater and two Vevor diesel-fired heaters serve the cabin, while updated cushions, cabinetry, overhead panels and gray vinyl flooring form part of the 2022 interior work.

Ground tackle and safety equipment

The ground-tackle arrangement includes an E-Z Anchor Puller EZ-5 stainless-steel 12V drum winch, a 15-kilogram claw-style anchor, a stainless-steel bow roller and approximately 400 feet of 1/2-inch anchor line with 5/16-inch chain. The forward chain locker holds an additional 300 feet of spare line.

The safety inventory includes Type I and Type II adult personal flotation devices, a Type IV throwable device, two Type B-I dry-chemical fire extinguishers, handheld day and night flares, an air horn and a carbon-monoxide detector. Four bilge pumps with manual and automatic float-switch operation are supplemented by two aft 12V backup bilge pumps.
