TEMPEST is a 1974 Palmer Johnson sailing yacht with a racing history that includes first place to Bermuda in 1976, a class win in the Transpac, and a Vineyard Race record held for 20 years.
Holland Jachtbouw completely rebuilt and relaunched TEMPEST in 2000. The yacht later took part in the 2003 Daimler Chrysler North Atlantic Challenge from New York to Hamburg and the 2005 Rolex Transatlantic Challenge from New York to Cowes.
